I disagree with you. If who delivers the news/weather/sports is not important then why do they replace or just get rid of certain people? Does Mike Cejka ring a bell?
For you to assume that I am the only one that cares just goes to show how much you think you know but in reality you don't know all that much not to mention you sound like a jerk.

WNLO is owned by Lin Broadcasting. WUTV and WNYO are owned by Sinclair Broadcasting.

I Doubt that WUTV will abandon Seinfeld for the news.

Since WNLO and WUTV are owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, I wonder if WGRZ would even look at the possibility of moving the news to Fox 29. They would have much better lead-ins and it could pay off in the ratings department.

Other thing is that Gannett has been starting to have its stations do morning news at 4:30am. I wonder if Daybreak will be following that trend.

Since there was a lot of "theory" in this article.... , any chance SOME of Channel 4's lead at 10 and 11 includes people that tune in for Don Paul weather? Seems to me that a more authoritative (and informative) weather source should count for something around WNY

No one (but you) cares if Lisa Flynn is gone. I watch news for the news, not who delivers it.

I am am a bit surprised that Channel 4 on WNLO is still winning the 10 p.m newscast since they never did replace Lisa Flynn. I thought ratings would drop off after she left.

I think Channel 4 wins in the morning because of Victoria Hong mostly and I can't imagine anyone specifically tuning in or out because of Amelia. She is fine but Mike was better.

Wow, channel 7's a lot more competitive in the 11pm newscasts than I would have thought... not sure what 2&4 are drawing for the 6pm newscast, but it at least looks like channel 7 is making some progress. It used to be channel 7 was only getting 2 and 3 shares, so climbing back to the 5s is progress. Plus, it's building on its lead-in.

It also appears that the boost you mentioned them getting from the Doctors leading in a couple years back is fading somewhat.

7's on the right track, although they still have a way to go before they're contenders again.
