She was nominated in the category of on-camera talent." Oh my God. The Peter Principle at work. It would be like putting Ralph Wilson in the HOF for being a great owner (oops, never mind). Seriously, to reward a person who has perhaps the most pronounced flaws of any anchor in WNY because she is a nice person and can read on air (even if the wrong words are stressed in the wrong place) and can sound "sincere" and "caring" and can make some semblance of pitter patter with her co-anchor is a real statement on the tv news of our time.
