As an original and former season ticket holder , I still think that watching Sabres games on cable is a bargain, as opposed to trudging down to the FN arena in the middle of winter. Also, the cost of parking just for one game would offset a years worth of cable increase. In these days of HD television, we get a great view of the games.

Let’s not forget the recent NFL $27B deal with CBS/NBC/FOX/ESPN. Those costs will surely be passed along in future rate hikes for the ESPN networks and higher carriage demands from local affiliates of the broadcast networks.

I watched the Hornets/Knicks too. What the hell is up with the New Orleans uniforms? Purple on one side and green on the other? Oh My (as Dick Enberg might say).
